Naxos Fitness Limited, as an idea, was founded in Villa Naxos in Cyprus, by the companies co founder Carys Rawson. As a regular gym goer, ex international hockey player and personal trainer at the time, Carys was surrounded by athletes, all using different products and supplements to enhance their performance and achieve their goals. It is from this that she came up with the idea of combining the two building blocks of fuelling the body and building muscle – caffeine and protein.

Fellow co founder, Conor Cockcroft, conducted comprehensive research into any existing products, only to find that none existed in this form. Conor went on to try and make their own of sorts, combining protein and caffeine as a pre workout blend before going to the gym. The pair then went on to contact manufacturers to see whether it was possible to create such a product. As the pair had expected, it was doable using collagen protein, and were pleased to have been able to create a product with a good amount of protein, high caffeine content, which also had healthy vitamins without the sugar.

The pair chose the three flavours, mixed berry, tropical and citrus, to provide a variation for everyone, but will be looking to create more flavours in the future. They will also be looking into creating smaller cans as another option to the 500ml cans which are sold, as well as some merchandise.
